Deadly Pandemonium in a Washington Suburb Five People Dead Detectives Looking for Clues
Five people are dead after gun shots erupted in in a city south of Seattle.
Police arriving Sunday evening at the apartments in Federal Way came upon a turbulent scene, with gunshots being fired.
They found two hurt people when they initially arrive on the scene. As they helped the two hurt individuals, one of them reached for a weapon, she said.
This is when officers engaged in firing their weapons. The person ended up dead but police stated it wasn’t directly obvious if the suspect died from their gun shots.
Two other people were found dead on the ground.
While searching the apartment complex, officers discovered another dead man in one residence and a shot-to-death woman in another residence. It’s possible a stray bullet struck the woman, though the department are currently looking into it.
All police officers who shot their gun, a total of eight, are currently on administrative leave, following standard policy, as the investigation progresses.
There was still no idea of what set off the violence. Police will give further information to the press sometime later today. “We still don’t have any idea what started this disturbance tonight,” Schrock said. The police said the they are still looking into everything and have scheduled a briefing for sometime later today.
Police combed the entire area, officers said they were positive there were no more casualties from the shooting or any more threats to the public.
Officers suffered from zero injuries. The police have yet to give the names of those killed.
